Is cherokee casino still open12/24/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() For the money I couldn't recommend it enough. We spent about three and a half hours here with my two grandchildren, ages three and six. The park is quite clean and in great shape and really it’s a great value for the fun your family will have. We didn’t have to wait in line for anything but we couldn’t get enough and wanted to explore every inch. We were fully unprepared for the amount of time we ended up spending at Santa’s Land. They were enormous and very entertaining. Definitley head back to the paddle boats and buy a bag of food for the koi. The rides are geared toward smaller children but we all had fun, including my 10 year old. Feeding deer was very special for my 3 year old who loves watching the deer in our yard and has always wanted to pet them. My kids loved riding the train from one part of the park to the other, meeting a really great Santa Claus who is always present to greet kids, watching the awesome magician, and see all the animals. Believe me when I tell you you MUST check this place out if you are in the area. It’s a really special piece of 60’s Americana and the reviews just did not prepare me for how wonderful it was going to be from the oversized characters: an Easter bunny, a snow man, a kangaroo with a pouch you can climb into, an igloo, and Santa’s sleigh, to the old school metal playground equipment my husband and I grew up with, to the charming animatronic elf scene. Oh my goodness! I cannot believe the number of folks I know who have stayed in the area and never visited Santa’s Land. ![]()
